Sometimes I respond with a very curt and dismissive tone... I know I do it. I know I feel justified in the moment. I know I feel bad later. I didn't know how to change it until ... I became more aware, not of it, but of me... of what is going on inside me... just before I do that.

It bubbled up, coming forth gutturally from the deep inside, filling up my emotions and swirling around so violently as to burst itself through, into my conscious space.

I do not like going to the dentist as an adult. It’s not cause they aren’t kind, helpful, much more technologically advanced, and very useful; but come on, who actually ‘likes’ it?

I don’t know exactly why it has become my sanctuary, it just is. I was the typical kid that hated having to pull the weeds and everything else that Dad required with his garden.
